Background Info

Yes, thats me to the right. I’m a Swindon based student in my second year studying BA(Hons) New Media. The course covers a range of subjects including Interface and Interactive Design, Motion Graphics and New Media Production.

Before I started my degree I was on a Art & Design course, which is where I got my first taste of photography. We briefly learnt how to use Film SLR’s and how to process the film in a dark room. In 2006 I decided I wanted to ‘get into’ photography and eventually in January 2007 I bought my first Digital SLR. Since then I’ve been getting out as much as I can trying to develop my work. I’ve tried various styles of photography but I mostly enjoy Landscape and Wildlife subjects.

I’m still unsure about what I want to do after my course, but I know I will continue photography in my spare time.
